The 2027 Kia Seltos is a complete redesign rather than a refresh. The wheelbase stretches 60 mm, rear legroom and headroom each gain 25 mm, and cargo space rises to an estimated 786 L behind the second row and 1,817 L with the seats folded. Kia will offer five trims: LX, EX, EX Premium, X-Line, and X-Line Limited. The 2.0 L and 1.6 L turbo models reach Canada this summer, with a hybrid following by year end.
Under the hood, the 2.0 L Atkinson four-cylinder makes 147 hp and 132 lb-ft through an IVT, while X-Line models get a 190 hp 1.6 L turbo with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD. The hybrid uses a 1.6 L engine, a six-speed dual-clutch, and available e-AWD, a first for a Kia hybrid SUV. Bessada Kia in Pickering is taking inquiries now.

The outgoing Seltos carried six airbags and an 8-inch screen on the LX. Standard equipment now includes eight airbags, a 12.3-inch display, and a broad driver-assist suite, moving the subcompact SUV closer to larger vehicles.
